    Welcome to the Acrobox!

    Cool name, huh? We thought so! It combines two of the coolest things in aviation, acro and the aerobatic box. Although our favorite view is green over blue, flying is flying whether you're in a good ol' Citabria or a brand new Edge 540.

    We would like to create a place where pilots and non-pilots alike can come to chat, learn, question, answer, blow smoke(which is another cool thing about some airplanes), or just read up on the latest tips and news in the aerobatic world. Although acro pilots make up a relatively small and passion driven community, make no mistake, part of our passion is reaching out to newcomers and sharing everything we know in order to grow as a community and spread knowledge! After all, promoting safety is our number one concern, and we can't think of a better way to teach safety than to fly acro!

    Here at Acrobox you will find a long list of different forums for different interests, from specific aerobatic airplanes to warbirds, air shows to competitions. If you have something to say that we dont have a specific forum for, let us know! We would be happy to take any new suggestions and get them going!

    After looking at airplanes all my life, I pretty much had a good idea what I wanted in a paint scheme for the Extra 300L. When the opportunity arose to repaint my plane, I began looking for scheme designers.
    I always liked the golden era of race planes like the Gee Bee. The 30's had a fantastic style.

    I ran across and "modern" interpretation of the original GeeBee that was designed by some guy in Italy. I found it in one of the many model airplane magazines I read. The design of the airplane lead me to aircraftsudiodesigns.com.
